It Takes Two Nintendo Switch Error - 105-80190000

I bought a digital copy of the full version of It takes two on my nintendo switch and my partner has the friend pass downloaded (also on a nintendo switch). We keep trying but we’ve been unable to connect to each other through the Play Online feature. Whenever we invite each other and attempt to join we keep getting the error “Your account settings has changed. Please connect again now. Result Code: 105-80190000” Please help ☹️ It’s been days and we haven’t been able to play the game at all.

    I'm also having this issue and have tried all the troubleshooting, now I can't unlink my Nintendo account again until Jan 2026. It's wild that this bug has gone unfixed for 3 years.

  • Hi! This is continuously happening at random to me. Sometimes, I keep on pressing the play online button until it works. Sometimes it doesn’t work and I am unable to continue playing. It’s a shame that this keeps happening. I’m playing on switch with a great internet connection. I’ve tried all of the solutions above. It’s not on our end, it’s EA. This is ridiculous. And if I get asked what my ID is, I’ll scream! As if my info will help?? This is a problem in the game itself. A flaw that has gone unfixed. If anybody over there even cares about their game, they would fix this. If it’s a problem with the EA accounts in general, fix it! Wasting your customers money and time is not a solution.

    EA_Cath​  It is August 07, 2025 and I am having this issue. I am trying to play online with my sister(we both have the game, we’re not even using the friend pass) and I’m getting this stupid error code. I have tried everything of clearing my cache and doing the date and time thing and restarting. Nothing is working.

    74 replies to this thread and still NO response at all from EA. Think about all the people that have this issue but didn't write a reply. Both the engineers and especially customer support are doing a really awful job. The least you can do is update us on the status and let us know you're working on it. Do your fing job!

    8/19/2025, i have been following this error closely for over 6 months now, and theres nothing at all. genuinely should be a class action lawsuit. we all bought a co op game that cannot be played co optly, and the studio is aware and does absolutely nothing about it!

    Can I get help? I am experiencing this error after deleting cache, restarting, updating. I don’t know what to do anymore

    October 2025 here. Trying to play this with my boyfriend. Both got the same error. Tried to clear cache and reset. Didn’t work. Then we unlinked the nintendo accounts from the ea accounts. And for some reason he only gets the error sometimes. But I get the error every time. Quite frustrating. Totally ruined the night.
