It Takes Two: 'Please Reset your Password' message, even after multiple resets

I recently bought It Takes Two on the PS4 and when trying to play online, I receive a message when trying to connect to EA servers saying 'Please reset your password'. I've reset of EA account password 5 times now and keep receiving the same message.

My EA account is using the same email address as my PSN account, so I would expect the two to recognise each other, however the two don't seem to be linked together.

when trying to login to EA via the website using the PSN sign in option (to try and link the accounts), I receive the an error message :

connect_error_social_login_failure

and I'm asked to reset my password again. Can anyone help please?

    Hey @rathmasfury,

It sounds like your PlayStation account is linked to another EA account alright. If you sign in here with your EA account details and you don't see your PlayStation account linked, then we know for certain:

    https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index

If you don't know what EA account your PlayStation account is linked to, then I recommend that you reach out to our live support team via the following link:

    https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

They'll be able to take a look for you and help you find the right EA account.

    Hey folks,

If you're getting messages that your platform is linked to ******@disabled.ea.com, then it means that your platform is linked to an old, disabled EA account. You can restore this account by resetting the password via the original linked email address, but if that doesn't work (or if you can't remember), then I recommend that you reach out to our live support team via the steps in the following link:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/

They can take a look at how they can best help you link your platform to a new EA account.
  • I'm getting that but Iv never had an ea account, I'm not jumping through hoops to play this game that should just work, iv uninstalled the game I don't care this much
