Wanted to confirm if this is still happening. If so, do you have anyone alive before trying to interact with the door?  

It was still happening. There was no one alive. I've since uninstalled this game and have no intention of returning to it. It's a technical mess, this glitch, enemies glitching out, frame rates are awful on a rig that runs elden ring at 4k 60fps. So much visual tearing and crashing. Its awful.

It is still happening. On PS5 at least. Though it worked for me loading the previous save. Right when the enemies spawn on the bridge. And I had to kill them first before I could interact. But for those who run into this bug, no need to restart the mission. Just load another save from the main menu. 

April 2024 PS5 still the same problem, I have to restart chapter after that I can open the door 

• It won't let me get pass the giant branch in the  building in the Nocea chapter. Why hasn't this bug been fixed yet? 

Hey guys. Had the same problem. You can open the door by killing NPCs on the bridge, near the gate. Hope it helps 🫶🏻
