My friend and I can't find each other on Origin / IT TAKES TWO
My boyfriend bought It Takes Two on Steam and he sent me the friends pass. We both logged into the game and then play online and could not add or find each other through Origin, which opened up when we clicked invite friend. We tried User IDs, real names, emails, going offline, logging out, closing everything... When I tried to search for him I got a message saying he could not be found and it was the same on his end. Searching through these FAQs I see there was a problem with this in 2018 and I just want to know if it's fixed or when we will be able to play, thanks.

Have you both updated your privacy settings here to make sure the appropriate search options are enabled?
If you've updated those but still aren't able to locate each other in Origin, I'd suggest downloading the EA Desktop App to try and add each other there.
The EA Desktop App has a separate nickname that tends to be used for newer accounts, so you should be able to try locating and adding each other that way. Once you've done so, you should still be on each other's friends list back in Origin as well.
