7 years agoMy game won't work?
I just downloaded the game and ever time I open it the ea and maxis logos show up then a black screen with music shows up. The game is playing the screen is just black, I can't see any thing. I don't...
I figured id have a problem with my graphics drivers. One was running a separate monitor for miscellaneous stuff. im not techy when it comes to drivers so thank you! trying that now
You can attach your second monitor to the R9 390.
If it don't have the necessary ports you can get an adapter for your monitor at Amazon or similar places.
Same here.I have the latest origin version and the latest gpu drivers.Have already tried to run the game after clean boot, repaired the game files and reinstalled origin a couple times.
Still getting the same thing.
You driver is still outdate. (Link)
There is a cryptic Origin error in your DxDiag. Please load up the "Client_Log.txt"
To find it press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and past or type "%ProgramData%\Origin\Logs" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
Then copy the file to your Desktop and load it up.
Furthermore, run the Windows System File Checker Sfc /scannnow and post the concluding message.
can anyone help me
The DxDiag displays a "RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64" for A way out, that is (in simple terms) a memory leak warning.
What did you already tried?
@All
Make sure Window is completely updated.
My friend's laptop only have 4 gb of ram, but the minimum system requirement is 8gb, is my friend still able to run the game in low graphic as right now he keeps on crashing when trying to get to the main menu. Please advise me on this. Thanks
so what i can do for it???
Me and my friend have been dealing with this for 8 hours now. We have done everything the support said then we called them we have been talking with them on the phone over 2 hours now and the ea support's specialist has no idea what the problem could be. They said that we are going to get an answer in 24 hours and that they are contacting the developer team for the answer.
Here's the client log.And the scan showed this "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
If the computer did not match the minimum system requirement then there is simply no guarantee that the game will work, especially if it is about Ram requirements.
What he can try is to set the pagefile to the the double of his physical RAM.
Please clear your Origin cache:
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)
- close Origin completely. (right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder. (The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy "%AppData%" (without quotes) > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on the word "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder
- Restart your PC. > test
Restart your router in this way:
Pull the power plug > wait 5 minutes > return the power plug
If that not helps, shut down your Windows firewall and disable the real-time scanner of your antivirus software.. (just for testing purpose, don't forget to activate the firewall and the antivirus software later on.)
Should it work after you disabled the firewall, here is a description how to allow a program to communicate through the firewall.
This ports must be open on your Router:
Origin Ports
TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900
If that not helps here is a EA connection troubleshooting guide.
Try to set your pagefile to 16260 minimum and maximum. (Guide)
If that don't works, preform a clean boot and test the Game afterwards.
I have the same issue and tried without any success:
- reinstall the game
- reinstall origin
- clean boot
- disconnect second monitor
- cccleaner
- disable Origin Ingame
- another game (Unravel -> Startet correctly)
- directX manual install
- drivers and origin are up to date
- origin as admin
- game as admin
- delete temporary files of origin
- pagefile to 16260 minimum and maximum
- grafic driver downgrade
- firewall disabled
Nothing helped...
So if after all of that the game didnt work then we have to wait for a patch or something.
having the same issue as some others here, start game says its going to launch and just minimizes origin, when i look at origin it says the game is running but it doesnt show anywhere not even on the task manager.
Ive tried deleting the folders from the appdata and and programdata as well as delete the local origin folder,
ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game
ive checked my gfx card driver
ive checked windows updates
ive allowed the game and the friend exe through firewall
ive tried disabling firewall in general
... not sure whats going on here...
So my friend found the problem and he managed to fix it the problem is: the game tries to launch the trial version not the full one idk how he done it but now im able to play after he done some stuff with his account maybe this will help abit more to understand the problem.
What did he actually do?
