I'm from Australia and cannot seem to get an Oceania server. In a bots match I get 50-80 ping which is pretty standard but in an online match ill have 200+ and get connected with mostly Asian charact...

There is an Australian server in Sydney; however, the Aussie playerbase seems to be very small.
If the matchmaker can't find a match locally then it looks to the next nearest server, which for us Aussies is Asia, hence why you get matches with players with mostly Asian character names.
