No Sound with Sound Blaster Hardware

Question

The game seems to be having compatibility issues with Sound Blaster cards.

I have two separate PCs (W10 & W11) that both have an AE-5 and neither one plays any audio from the game. SFX, music, etc is all silent. All other audio (Discord, etc) continues to work normally. I have tried changing the bit, freq, and output (stereo, 5.1, etc) with no success.

The following thread on Reddit has people all experiencing the same problem with AE-5s, AE-7s, and G6 sound cards.

Lauch sound blaster command.Go to reading and activate direct mode.This should fix it.

Same problem I have an&nbsp;EA-7&nbsp;&amp; have absolutely no sound I've tried everything I could think of, I've tried every "fix" on the net &amp; nothing has worked. Have they even talked about this issue?&nbsp;&nbsp;As I've said elsewhere I'll give them to this upcoming patch if it's not fixed I'll be refunding the game.&nbsp;

I've personally reported the bug multiple times both through official and unofficial channels and have yet to see any form of acknowledgement.

Well, a patch came out today but still hasn't fixed the no-sound issue. Still haven't seen them talk about the issue either. I've already started the refund process, I'll check back in on the game in 6 months. Maybe by then they'll have worked out the problems. Damn shame, I was really looking forward to this game.&nbsp;
