Seems like the devs have thus far refused to acknowledge any performance issues on consoles whatsoever.
Can confirm terrible problems in chapter 4. The game is now unplayable for me, whereas in chapters 1-3 it was really pretty good and I had no complaints. I cannot respond in time to any kemono attack, as it feels like I am moving through molasses. I take every hit, every combo, and have to heal constantly, because controls are unresponsive. I see my friend moving around quickly, but my character is in perpetual slow motion, and kemono just capitalize on that for the most miserable experience. I run between fights in slow motion, arriving 30 seconds or more after anyone else. Combos take forever and a day to get off. There seriously needs to be a response to this.

Just wanted to add to this conversation as well. The game is heading towards unplayable now on Ps5 - I have a save with about 45 hours played and the slowmotion bug is happening more and more frequently. Inputs get enormously delayed, building fusion karakuri is almost impossible and dodgeing moreso. Really hope that this gets the attention it deserves and patches are on the way.
This is especially noticeable from chapter 4 and forward. Both solo and online.

Yeah, it is not an isolated issue, and it is pretty much unplayable. I could make a video of it, if the devs request it, but I am not a YouTuber. Rurikhan talks about it here:

The farther people get on the PS5 version, the more people will see of this performance issues, this is something that people should be vocal about. Even Digital Foundry got it wrong because they didn't make it far enough into the game, stating that the framerate is okay, but obviously they only played the first chapter.
I will keep getting this topic to the top in hope that more people see it and start a conversation about it. The more exposure this gets, the more the dev will have to do something about it, so I hope people will keep mentioning this to them on Twitter and here. If they don't acknowledge it, then the best thing to do is to keep bringing the noise.
