Unable to connect to game lobby: players are using incompatible game versions.

Is that message showing up when you try to boot up the game, or when you try to join a lobby with your wife? If it shows up when you try to join a lobby together, it most likely means one of you has an older version of the game installed and just needs to update it! 

It is when we try to join a lobby... Both of our games are updated... When my wife tries to play with our friends it works just fine... It's only me who can't join with my wife or with friends... Oh yeah, thanks for the response!

I am sorry to hear you've been having trouble joining others in Split Fiction. Since it's on Steam, have you tried repairing the game files yet?

Yes I did... multiple times... redownloading it at as well multiple times...

01_Siege_12​, do you know how your friend purchased the game? Was it directly bought on Steam and gifted through there?

 Because if it were, their customer support could be an additional option for you.

My friend bought it in Steam... I'll try looking for the customer support there...

01_Siege_12​, please update us here on their response if you can. It could help other players facing the same issue down the line. And if they say "it's not us", we could potentially pass that on as well.

It keeps leading me here (EA Forum or EA Website) I'm trying my luck now in the Discord Servers...

Hey 01_Siege_12​, I've read through another thread reporting this error, and maybe it's worth checking whether you both have EA accounts linked to your Steam accounts, then try again?
