“Result Code: 10580190000” Please Help!

I bought a digital copy of the full version of It takes two on my brand new nintendo switch 2 and my husband has the friend pass downloaded (also on a nintendo switch). We keep trying but we’ve been unable to connect to each other through the Play Online feature. Whenever we invite each other and attempt to join we keep getting the error “Your account settings has changed. Please connect again now. Result Code: 105-80190000” Please help! Nothings changes I just made a new EA account (so there's no new changes), bought the Nintendo online subscription to play, and bought the game and it still doesn't work. There's  forums from years ago and the problem still exists. I've tried all troubleshooting nothing works. I just wish I knew the was a problem before buying everything just to find out it doesn't work. I want it to work online like I was promised when I bought the game. Imagine spending so much money for a switch 2, online subscription (which is mandatory to play online), and the game, only to find out you still can't play. I’ve deleted every cashe, I’ve unlinked and linked my account, I’ve restarted the system, and I’ve closed out and reloaded the game several times. I’ve checked my settings on the EA platform and noticed nothing has changed, however, when I go to add an information to my account like my phone number gives me another error code saying this action cannot be done right now. I just want to be able to play the game online like I was promised when purchasing the game. if not, we need to find a different solution.

    I recently bought the digital version of it takes two on my Switch 2, and when I went to try and play online, I got an error code “105-80190000” . I have looked at other threads for an answer such as checking for corrupted data, restarting my switch, disconnecting my ea account from my switch, etc. It all doesn’t work so what can I do to fix this?

    Hi there, and thank you for reaching out -- I completely understand your frustration. You've clearly put in serious effort troubleshooting, and it's genuinely disappointing when you've invested in all the pieces (Switch 2, online subscription, the game itself) only to hit a wall.

    Error 105-80190000 on the Nintendo Switch can be tricky, especially when you've already tried the standard troubleshooting steps. Here are a few other things worth trying:

    Try these:

    Make sure your Switch 2's system time is set to synchronise automatically via the internet -- sometimes account issues get finicky when time sync is off.

    If you're both on the same WiFi network, try connecting over a different network, if possible (such as a mobile hotspot or a friend's WiFi), just to rule out any router-level issues.

    Try a hard restart of your Switch by holding the power button for 12 seconds or more to fully power it down, then turn it back on and attempt to connect again.

    If those don't work:

    Reach out to our EA Support team at https://help.ea.com. You can submit a ticket with your Nintendo ID and this error code, and they can review your specific account setup to determine if there's anything that needs checking.

    Really sorry you're dealing with this. Hopefully, one of these steps will help you get back in the game with your husband!

    I also have this problem, and they also offered no solve for it. True customer service, EA not doing anything to fix a problem this game has had for years.

     

    Truly a pathetic company. I requested a refund from Nintendo. I think you should do the same, considering EA let this sit here for a month and it's a known issue going back years (check reddit!). They don't care about you. Don't let them pretend they do.

    This seems to be a random issue. We faced the same Problem and tried all suggested solitions to no avail until we found that sometimes it just works and then it doesnt again. It seemscto be a broader issue on EAs side not the User side. I guess has to do with the EA account rather than the switch or the internet connection. The only solution we didn't try is to check in with ea support and get the account cheched manually. Until we do, the best solition is just try again and again. If it doesnt wirk after an hour of trying back to back I whould stop though.

    Same issue here. All solution didnt help but we found that its rather random and just did work sometimes. Best suggestion ist to have ea check the account for problems. Its probably on their side. Other than that tryibg again and again might work eventually. But its frustrating.
