@DarickisDamnedYeah, in talking with a friend that I just helped get platinum for by defeating Grimquill with him - this is how it works. Only the host gets credit. No one wants to assist because only the host gets credit, and no one wants to assist once they complete it either, due to the high degree of failure, and no unique rewards. It is better to farm regular volatile for cladding, if you even want to. He tried getting help all morning and no one came. Yesterday either.
If you assist with deeply volatile, you will get progress, but it will disappear on returning to Minato, unfortunately.
@aeralureWow I’ve been racking my brain for the past 2 days over this. Pretty ridiculous but I’m glad to have an answer finally.
@DarickisDamnedYeah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It may be a bug. I reported it as such, but it may also be intended that only the host gets credit. I don't know. I asked a few friends if they would help, but a few of them have left the game now due to this issue, so I am not sure I'll be able to complete it. One said they waited two days for someone to come assist randomly and no one did. No one wants to help on it because you don't get credit. I may leave the game as well.
Hopefully it is a bug and gets fixed so that guests can get credit for it. I may be done until that is the case, as others in my circle left and I don't know how to get help now as a host.
