Community ManagerI've found another workaround, there seems to be an issue with EA accounts and online, I turned my wifi off and I was successfully able to run the game.
This may or may not work for everyone but this at least works for my particular account problem, my friend doesn't have this issue at all so it might have to do with CERTAIN accounts.
Home Menu Settings > Network > Settings > Connect to the Internet (OFF)
after this, try connecting to the game and turn the server connection off.
(the attachment is just the "Grey Screen" error code)
Community AdminHi there, I believe this should be addressed with the patch that just recently went out on PS5. Can anyone who didn't clear down your blocked list please check again now? You may need to manually search for the update beforehand.

Do you know if this latest PS5 patch contain any performance update to smooth out the framerate also?
