My friend and I had the same problem. Every time we got to the rubber duck phase, we would become de-synced and he would disconnect. We were able to work around this by setting both of our settings to the absolute minimum and it was able to sync enough for us to finish. MOST NOTABLE: I noticed that it was always him that would disconnect even though he was hosting. We checked our settings and discovered that his framerate was set to "unchecked" and mine was capped at 30fps. I point this out because his game seemed to run more quickly than mine did when we were playing, and I am loosely assuming that it may be the source of the syncing and disconnecting issue. Thank you for this thread, and I am glad to hear that others were having this problem.
