Re: Save Problems and Issues : It Takes two

I play online with my brother so he uses the friend pass. I am on a PS5 and he is on a PS4. I always invite him to play. I can visibly see that it says saving when we get through some areas. However, it seems there is a pattern in which it does not actually save unless we get through the whole chapter and get to a new one. I have repeated this and been successful for a few chapters already. At first when I wanted to close the game when I was still in the middle of a chapter I would just exit to the main menu and look back to see if it had saved and it would not. I would close the game completely and the save would still not be there. To reiterate, it seems that completing the entire chapter and getting to a new one does in fact save. Hope this helps.

    Cody the saves aren't working!

    - Wanted to give an update on saving issues, This is currently being investigated by our games team. If there is further news or changes I will update here for everyone.

    Happening on Windows 10 via Steam, one person owns license, other uses Friend Pass. License owner always invites other person. Save indicator shows, but most of progress lost on relaunch. Not sure what triggers it (does save take longer than save indicator animation?).

    @sacmahoni I only wish my problem was with the save as I can't even get this game to launch on my PS5 ☹️
    ... and not one support specialist I've contacted in their Chat has been able to help. Really sad that we can't play this game. Is it time to ask for my money back?

    Meanwhile my doughter and I have finished the Game. We made sure, that we have enough time for each session. Then I checked in the Menu -> Chapter Selection if the actual game status was saved and available for loading in the chapter menu. With that, it worked okay for us although the saving points (which are then listed in the menu) are sometimes far apart. So you have to play sometime a while to be on the save side. Annoying….
    But after finishing I must admit, this game is really cool. So many different elements to play and a sweet story behind it. I tried to find a new game for me and my daughter, but it seems to be very difficult to find another game for 2 players which offers such a big game variety.
    Pretty sad, that EA not even answers to all those issues…

    @sacmahoni I'm so glad you and your daughter were able to play, it looks like so much fun ... wish we could play it too.
    One question, did you play on a PS5?

    That is really interesting. I just cannot figure out why it won't load on mine. There's that not that much to installing it; you just click install and wait. I don't know what the heck happened ... And I've uninstalled it twice now!

    Seriously, no replies since 2021?!?!?!?! Really ?!?!?!!?! We are having the same issue on the Switch version. It keeps losing our place & we have to go through difficult wasp battles over & over again!! Come on EA, this has gone on WAAAAAAAY to long with no resolution!
