Re: Steam - cannot launch game.

Hey all, 

We continue to track this issue at the moment, but we have some additional steps we'd like you to try if you could:

Can you look through your "Apps and Features" section of Windows 10 and verify all versions of the game (and the trials) are uninstalled? If you're using Windows 11, you can find it under Settings - Apps - Installed Apps.

Then reinstall the game only where you have the full game purchased.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please run the EA Error Reporter and attach your Report ID here so we can get an updated look at this.

    @EA_Cade 034fe7be-dc9d-4231-9268-d9485a94f1a6 Ive got same issue and here is my report id and ive tried most ways on the HQ.

    If this is of any help - there is a debug txt file in the steam folder of the Wild Hearts. Maybe this is a clue to what is going on.

    Hi @DrakesDark If you are running into this issue would it be possible to try the steps @EA_Cade mentioned? If you continue running into issues could we get an Error Report ID?

    I have only base version of the game and I did try to reinstall it twice - to no avail.

    I can only add that I did pre-download it day before the launch day.

    I'm having the same issues. Opening from steam and the game doesn't launch - just opens the EA player.

    I'll refund the game on steam and will try to buy it on EA app. Let's see it this will change anything.

    Hi! My game finally worked, but not the way You probably hoped it would.

    It's seems that the problem lies with either connetion steam-EA app or the EA app iteslf.

    I've bought the game again - through ea site. Then I uninstalled EA app and the game form steam then installed Origin.

    And now the game does work - while strarting it from Origin app.

    None of these solutions work, I bought the game twice now, reinstalled, tried everything mentioned, and it still will not boot the game.
