It takes two

Good day My husband bought the game "It takes two". The game was purchased through "Epic Games", he downloaded it to his computer through "Epic Games", installed "EA", logged in and launched the game, everything works fine. I did the same thing on my laptop, but I took the game "It takes two. friend version", I downloaded it, installed it and logged into "EA", but the game starts endlessly and that's it. I cleared the cache on the laptop, cleared the "EA" cache, checked the integrity of the game through "EA", ran "EA" with admin rights. But none of this helped. Later, my husband logged in to "Epic Games" and "EA" in his account and the game started, and I, in turn, logged in through my account on his computer and there the same problem. I am asking for help. Thank you.

This is my EA name - czelyn8riz92 And this is my husband - 0bl1vv10n

Hi @cze1yn8riz92, Apologies to confirm when you sign into the EA app and try to launch the friends app via your EA account does the game endless try to launch or do you get any specific error message?

  • No, no error appears. The game, like all launchers, is installed on one disk, the name of the disk and folders contains only Latin letters. The only thing I noticed is that when you try to launch the game through the shortcut on the desktop, no action takes place at all. The only option to get the game to work for anything to happen is to try opening it through the EA launcher. In this case, there is simply an endless download, without any errors. We checked, for 2 hours of running the game, nothing happened.

    Hi @cze1yn8riz92

Thanks for the additional information!, Can we give the following a try if you have not?

    1. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    2.  Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
    3. Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
    4. Perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that may be interfering with your game.

    Thanks!
