Problem: Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure Platform Client is online and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information.

What I have done:

Checked network connection
Opened the EA App and launched the game from there
Checked for the file integrity

Tried the App Recovery from EA App as instructed in one of the forums here

Checked if I have a ban history

Restarted the EA App

Lowered the display setting

Trigger: Losing the second part of the boss battle in Ships Ahoy (Octopus releases ducks with dynamite to attack players in a ship). There is also a syncing problem during that level of the game. The delay of the one using the friend's pass is too great compared to the one who uses the full game version. Shooting cannons is also a problem with the one using the friend's pass, there is too much delay or sometimes it just doesn't respond to clicking.
