Steam - Game does not open in any window

Currently i am having a problem where after a few hours of playing, Wild Hearts has suddenly stopped opening correctly and does not show up on any kind of window or monitor. I have tried everything from simply waiting for it to open, verifying the games files, redownloading the game, redownloading the ea app, and updating my drivers but nothing has worked. I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else, and if they've fixed it, please detail how, Im at a loss of what to do.

    Can you go to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\KoeiTecmo\WILD HEARTS, make a backup of SYSTEMSAVE DATA to your desktop, then delete this file and try to launch the game again.

    If it runs fine now you can discard the backup.

    @RedIsARobot I should note I am playing the trial version and every time it fails to boot and every time i have pressed stop running, it ticks .1 hours from my remaining play time, which took me from 5.3 hours left to 4 now
