Story progress reset

I beat golden tempest and emberplume logged back in now I am on chapter 1 in my save with 41:54 game time

Did this happen when you helped a hunter who was earlier in the game? If so, did you save it? I think that could be the issue.

Also, did you loose the ability to play online after this happened?
