Unable to connect to EA servers. ea.com/unable-to-connect Result Code: 401-6e

What solved this problem for me was unplugging the 32gb USB stick/flash drive I had connected to my PC.

After a few hours of reading forums and trying to find a solution. This single post was the only thing that actually helped. Apparently having a USB stick prevented both It Takes Two and F1 2024 from connecting to the EA servers.
