Unable to download A Way Out on girlfriend's computer

As the title says, my girlfriend and I wanted to play the game together. I purchased it on the EA app and told her to download the EA app mac version, but there's not even a search bar for her to download the friend pass version. Is there something simple I'm missing, or can it truly not be downloaded on MAC? I'd appreciate some guidance before I file a refund request.
