Unable to link EA account to Nintendo account
I own the It takes two friends pass and my friend owns the paid version, both on the nintendo switch.
When I launch the friends pass, I got no prompt to link my EA account to my Nintendo account, Therefore when I try to play online, I get an error message which reads "unable to connect to EA servers".
How can I link my Nintendo account to my EA account?
BTW I am on a nintendo online free trial. Does it not let me connect with a trial? do i need an actual membership?
Things I have already attempted:
- Redownloading the game
- Checking internet connection
