Unable to log into Immortals of Avenum - Prompts to change password

Tried to play Immortals of Avenum but met with a notification to please reset my password. So I scan the QR code, change my password and come back. I’m still met with the same prompts. I don’t have EA play, just trying to play on my PS5. I’ve got the DLC and I’ve seen that I won’t be able to use it unless I’m online. What can I do to play the game?

    To confirm do you get the prompt on your PS5 or when you launch immortals?

    If the prompt comes from immortals, can you try resetting your EA account password at help.ea.com

    If so, I would recommend reaching out to our support to take a further look at your account.

    I receive the prompt to change my password as I’m logging into Immortals of Avenum.


    Steps that I’ve completed to try and resolve this issue:

    1. I’ve changed my password.

    2. I’ve closed the game.

    3. Restarted the game.

    I still receive the prompt to change my password.

    So I closed the game. I restarted my PS5. Start the game and I am still prompted to change my password

    I’ve enclosed a pic of the prompts as I’m unable to capture the actual screen since gameplay is recording is paused because I entered a blocked scene. I’ve also enclosed the error code screen: Error code 1005

    @EA_Illium  posted that if the things he posted didn't work you should contact EA Help, and the reason for that I think is that no one here can do anything about account issues, that requires the people on the official help page chat or maybe X/twitter whatever they call it now.  EA reps here can't do much about accounts other than to refer to official help and maybe flag an issue for them to look at, but you will need to discuss it with EA Help chat to get anything done if it is account related.

    Now question I have is, Is this the only game having access issues and online issues??  And what kind of network are you trying to access the internet through??  Reason I ask, is I have heard of several cases where school/government/college internet prevented access to certain sites, such as EA for whatever reason.   I also remember one case where the ISP service actually was the problem, but again that was ONE case.....  Most common issue is a router or hardware firewall issue when it comes to player side problems causing this issue, when it is not being an account issue.

    If you ask me to bet a penny on which is the cause,....probably an account issue, but not by high margins.  60/40 split.

    I have the exact same issue with the exact same error code is the original poster. I've tried all the steps mentioned and I've even contacted EA for help and I've been met with nothing but an endless loop of non helping attempts at fixing my internet which seems to work with every other game, and in all other functionality, and changing my password and account information for EA; which also never works. I've been trying to get this game to function properly for days now. I don't know if it's a rare bug, I don't see how it is since it happened the instant I logged in to this game. I would imagine it happens to everyone quite like me. But since there's been no successful help to this issue I will just continue to play offline and speak poorly of my experience. If anyone ever finds a real fix to the issue, please let me know.
