Unravel will not install.

Just downloaded Unravel last night. I went ahead and clicked on the Install button in the My Games section. It ran through the installation, but now the Install button remains. I went ahead and tried running the game from the source file, and Origin tells me I must install the game first.

Ive gone through and tried a bunch of different fixes from the help boards. Added Origin to my firewall/antivirus exceptions, ran it as admin. I've reinstalled Origin and Unravel.

Not sure what else I'm missing. Running on Windows 7, if that helps.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance!

  • Do you have the option to repair the game if you right click on the game ?

If not, try changing languages to something different and then back.

Thanks for the quick reply! No option to repair the game. Did what you said and changed the language from one to another, then back again. This didn't seem to change anything.

Kindof hard to tell from the screenshots, but it does say, "Installation Complete" in the second image.

Dunno if this helps, but when I try opening up Unravel_trial.exe, It tells me I need to activate the product. I haven't received an activation code of any kind. Also, it says, "DisplayName field missing from registry."
