Moved your thread to the Unravel forum
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584/
You can attach the txt file to your post directly. There's a few suggestions in this forum. Check if these work.
Hi crinrict,
I may have posted this to the wrong page. I'm just getting used to moving around on these forums.
Here is the DxDiag info you asked for:
I've attached it with the paperclip below. Is that the way it works?
Thanks,

Hi,
it looks like your graphics card is to old for this game. It doesn't have directX 11 support.
@brandonburch1611 could you also post your specs.

Hi, had the same issue and just managed to solve it by accidentally checking which programs show up in my notification area. There is Unravel LAV Splitter. Did a search and installed LAV filters from https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases . Did couple more steps for verification. K-Lite codec pack has to be installed and LAV filters have to be installed on top.
Thank you, mate. Only your advice was relevant to this topic. Totally fixed my issue with the game.

Hi! Maybe it helps someone. I have a laptop with intel integrated video card and nvidia card. For some reason game doesn't choose nvidia by default. What helped for me was:
right click on unravel.exe -> run with graphics processor -> choose default graphics processor -> global settings -> preferred graphics processor: high-performance nvidia processor -> apply.
And game worked like charm!
I am not sure though if it is good idea to leave it like that, so after playing the game I change settings back to auto-select.

Had this same problem, but made Unravel work by disabling G-sync in the NIVIDIA Control Panel.

Hey, I had this same issue and it took me 2 hours to figure out how to fix it. My problem was the resolution for Unravel was too large for my monitor. In order to fix this I had to do a bit of work.
The first thing I did was I right clicked on the desktop shortcut for Unravel > Properties > Compatibility > Checked the box that said " Run this program in compatibility mode for:" > Selected windows 8.
Next, I went to Origin > Right click Unravel > Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options > Command Line Arguments > "640x480". I did this so I could change the resolution of the game. Once the game opened (successfully) it was super tiny and hard to read. From there I pressed "esc" on my keyboard went to graphics, then changed the resolution to the resolution of my computer screen. And then it was fixed! Hope this helps : )
* After you adjust the resolution in game, you can go back to the Command Line Arguments and remove the text (it won't change anything but you can remove it if you want).
