Waiting for Other players to finsh downloading Content

    Whichever of you is using the friend's pass, needs to verify the game files.

    To do this in origin, on the splash screen before your game launches, click the settings cog and choose to repair the game. This will then download the missing files. 

    This solution just worked for us, we were hanging at the same point you were.
