Wildhearts crossplay issues

I have an Xbox series X and cant play crossplatform with my family. Have done research and have switched it off and on through console settings. Have tried relinking my EA account to my Wildhearts game, redownloaded it, just to have my," go online" and," Crossplay buttons blacked out still, giving no access to them in game settings. Its been a couple weeks this has been happening, hoping EA would fix something so important, but never got solved. I need advice... Anyone had issues with this?
