Xbox Error code 4, unable to access add-ons and upgrades

@ZZZZFROSTZZZZ I can understand that but not everyone has the same setup on their network. Different modems, different ISP, and different network settings all play a factor. This is why some work and some don't. I feel as though if you took your console down the street, or hooked it up to a different network entirely, chances are it would work.

I am curious though, I would like to know if flushing the DNS settings work for anyone

Hop on a PC or laptop if you can.
Press Win key + R, type CMD, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt with admin rights
Copy and paste the following code (press Enter after each line):
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
Restart your computer and try to connect to EA now

Or Changing the DNS on the console Steps here Google DNS 

1. Go to Settings and select All Settings
2. Go to Network and press Advanced settings
3. At DNS Settings, click Manual
4. Set Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8
5. Set Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4
6. Save settings and try to connect to the game again

That sounds more like an entitlement issue than anything else. When you buy Edition A and you see Edition B. either its a visual display error which happens a lot, or their console account if purchased on the console, was entitled incorrectly. That isn't really a publisher issue as publishers only give games to play, what gets entitled through purchases honestly falls back on the marketplace and account you purchased it through. So if that were done on the EA App, that would be the App marketplace, but on Xbox, that's a Microsoft purchase being entitled to your Xbox not your EA account specificaly.

When you buy the deluxe you get the standard game and the upgrade.  Not matter which edition you buy you always get the base game.  Press start in game and click add ons to revive you content.  Took me hours to get me after just randomly hitting add on while traveling or hunting.  However I can’t play online on my main account but can on others.  Makes no sense 

@Slaugh7erhous3 So content can always be delayed but saying I can on one and not the other could be an account issue. I've seen it where people have more than one Xbox or PS account linked to their EA account which can cause issues. However, the only way to know if it was an account issue since one can and one cannot, is to have an Advisor look into the EA account and go from there.

If you have more than one Xbox account on the console, and you arent game sharing, remove them both and log back in one at a time and see what happens. If you run into the same issue, it typically isnt the game but something on the account. That is just from experience dealing with this on other games not EA related. Call of Duty is the biggest one I see being called out for this error so it happens in quite a few games.

To check did you initially purchase/pre-order the Kakuri edition or the standard edition and then upgrade after playing?
