Yarny constantly running left

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased the game Unravel through the Origin desktop application on PC.  I was really excited to start playing it, but when I launched the game, I found that the Yarny character was constantly running towards the left of the screen.  This made it extremely difficult to maneuver some parts of the game, and completely impossible to navigate through other areas.  I initially tried playing with just a keyboard and mouse when I found this issue, but I also attempted to connect an Xbox One controller to my Windows 10 desktop via a USB-B cable.  The same issue occurred then, as well.  Each of the controls worked, except that Yarny was left constantly running to the left.  I have attempted restarting my computer, unplugging USB devices from my computer, and several other troubleshooting steps, but nothing has helped so far.  When playing the game, it seems as if the left arrow key is jammed down or the joystick is jammed to the left (Yarny runs left).  In each of the game menus (including the "Game Start" menu and the "Pause" menu"), it seems as if the up arrow key is jammed down or the joystick is jammed upwards (the selected menu option is continuously moving up).  This problem only occurs within the Unravel game.  I own several other Origin games, and this problem never occurs in any of them.  The issue never shows up in any other Windows applications, nor does it show up when I am using the Xbox controller in any other app (whether on the Xbox or on Windows).

I was really looking forward to playing this game, but at the moment, this issue makes it completely unplayable for me.  I found an old Reddit post about a similar issue, but it did not help my problem.  If anybody has any advice or solutions, please let me know.  Thanks in advance for the help.
