These steps worked for me, thanks! Following these steps allowed me to play the trial only, despite having purchased the game (this makes since as the game is, at this point, not in my account anymore), however I found a solution that allows full access (within the 10 hour limit), as intended. If you follow all these steps exactly and then, before launching the game, you restore the standard/karakuri edition to your account, the game should work with full access to Minato. So, the steps would be:
1. "Permanently" remove game from Steam library.
2. Clear EA App cache.
3. Force close EA App and EA App background via task manager.
4. Restore game to Steam library through the same support window used to remove it.
5. Launch game through Steam.
This is needed every time you launch the game, but that's not much of an issue considering the game releases in about 12 hours at this point anyway.
