BF1 and BF5 not launching

I'm trying to access Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5 through Xbox gamepass. My account is linked and other games work. However every time i launch either of these games i get a prompt saying the game is launching and then it just stops. I have reinstalled Xbox app and EA desktop as well as both games.

Any solution is much appreciated.
