@78spaceman This typically indicates that the accounts are not linked, the wrong accounts are linked, or there is a sync issue between the EA account and the Xbox account.
Log into EA.com and under connections make sure you have the correct Xbox account account linked with the correct EA account.
If you do, follow the steps below:
- Close the EA app.
- Navigate to the Xbox app.
- Go to settings (click your name in the top left corner)
- Select "extensions."
- Disable the extension for the EA App
- Locate the game you want to download on the Xbox app
- You'll notice that the install selection has now gone away and been replaced by an option asking you to "enable extension."
- Enable the EA app extension
- The Xbox app should then launch the EA app automatically
- Once you see the EA app open, you should now be allowed to select an SSD/HDD to install the game

Hi @EA_Shepardthanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it. When I checked my EA account connections page, Xbox is not appear as an option, though I did previously link my xbox account to this EA account. Also when I tried logging in after disabling and re-enabling the extension on PC Gamepass I got the error message below (I got the same error message when I tried to log in on the browser using the 'login using xbox account' button).
{"error":"Internal server error","error_description":null,"error_code":null,"code":107019}

Hi @Uchoosme, Will you follow the same steps above and check the accounts and password reset for me?

Hi @78spaceman, thanks for the update. When you log into your EA account do you see your Xbox account linked to EA account you are using to play game on? If you do not that is the issue. You would have a separate EA account that the Xbox is linked to.
Do this - log into your EA account on a browser with your EA log in first. Then go to connections and check to see if your Xbox account is linked.
If it is not, log out and log in with your Xbox account and check to see what EA account it is linked to.
The error code you posted indicates you need to update the EA account. That could be a simple password reset if the correct accounts are linked.- 9 months ago
When I logged in to my EA account using my ID I could not see an xbox option in the account connections, so I could not see whether the account was linked or not. When I tried to log in using the xbox button, it says there is already an EA account linked to the address (i used the same email for both the EA and Xbox account). When I get a code sent and use it to login, that is when I get the internal server error message I posted above.
Would there be a way on your end to unlink my Xbox account from any or all EA accounts so I can try it again as if I were trying to link it for the first time? If not, do you have any more suggestions? Thanks so much for your help on this so far
