There is clearly an issue with the ea app, clearing the app cache(App recovery) does not work unlinking doesn't even work.
uninstalling the ea app does not work either.
I won't cancel my sub just to get the app to work, it stopped working for many of us.
Hopefully, it will get fixed by EA, I just launched the app, and all my games were gone but still installed.
and scoured the internet for a solution.
I tried all the things I could find nothing is working, one guy said he canceled his sub and re-subbed to Xbox gamepass and that fixed it but that is not a solution.
@EA_Shepard can the community get some assistance on this?

I have the same problem. I just subbed to game pass to play Jedi Survivor but I am being asked to buy the game. I contacted Xbox support and they mentioned this problem has been happening frequently so all points to a problem on EA's side.

I have the same issue. I have renewed my xbox gamepass for pc yesterday. Nothing changed on my pc. 3 months ago everything was working fine but now it looks like that ea play via gamepass is not recognized by ea play app.
Also tried all the things like clearing ea play app cache, verify that my accounts are still linked etc.
