With EA Play you will only gain access to the games available in the vault and they will only be standard versions.
If you want a deluxe or better version then you would have to purchase EA Play Pro which is only available for PC via Origin.
If either subscription expires then you will lose all access to those games, but progress and stats will still be saved until you renew your subscription or purchase the game outright, providing it's on the same platform.
You do not need EA Play at all to play the game, it is completely optional. You can purchase the game as normal and you're good to go, providing it is available on the store for your preferred platform.

thank you o much for your help CarbonCarl. i was wondering if not. i wouldn't mind getting the yearly thing it's only 30$. but myb soon. a Need For Speed:Delux Edition is just that. it the name of the full game xD. but ever since i finally got a hold of good working xbox one controller for my laptop the racing bugs bitten me so hard it's left a mark haa. so thank yo i can't wait to get on the race track and get ready to kick som online players but!\t!
