EA Play discount on Steam

Me too .. i have exactly the same issue unless you cant get the offer a second time ..

I mean I see EA representatives replying in the other threads here so I am not sure why nobody can answer if this is true at least so that we know if we should move on or wait to be fixed... They can at least confirm that either this is just for new subscribers and the text I quote from steam is wrong(and they should fix it cause its misleading atm) or if they really wanted to make this for returning players too(which means we need a fix)?

The 80% off offer on Steam is never for returning subscribers, always for new subscribers only.
You probably confused the the offer on EA APP itself with the one on Steam

"Offer expires November 17, 2023, at 10 am PT. New and returning subscribers only." this is for the one on EA App .. the Steam offer: "Offer only for new subscribers. Ends Nov 15, 2023"

Unfortunately this does not help me because the confusion got to you too it seems and I'll explain why right away. The screenshot you provided is from the button where you can subscribe on steam. But on top of the EA Play page on Steam there is a different text that says the promotion is between november 1-17, 2023 and there is a cross symbol for additional info that is at the very bottom on the steam page that says"†Offer expires November 17, 2023, at 10 am PT. New and returning subscribers only." I actually already quoted that in my first post. I guess you've missed it where it is on Steam exactly but it is there! Personally I think the button is the one place they forgot to update with the right info or maybe not ? I mean nobody from EA wants to confirm anything so we will never know I guess.... Adding screenshot to be more clear!

Could be that whoever typed the info you highlighted in your screenshot, simply copy pasted it from EA store version.

This isn't the first time the 80% offer come to steam, and believe me I check it every time on Steam .. and every time it is for new subscribers only.

Personally I would really love to have it for both new & returning subscribers on Steam just like on EA store.

Hopefully a mod here sees this and relay it as feedback to whoever is responsible to make the 80% off offer on steam for both new & returning subscribers
