@Farscape247Wrong, EA's intention was clearly to make users pass through the new EA Desktop app to promote it. Why would Microsoft want to guide users to an app that's in Beta, giving them a bad experience and ruining their Game Pass reputation in PC, when it's trying to win that market? It was clearly an EA thing.
Definitely a miss opportunity there, not including achievements. For the whatever side it needs to be worked on, I do hope they get it done. Feels bad to get some EA series such as Dead Space to be finally played and miss all the achievements because of this inconvenience.

Community managers have no power and no knowledge of the conglomerate's mysterious ways. I bet no employee who has any voice or makes any decisions has ever seen any post on this forum.
And you're right about the fact that EA don't care about achievements or any feedback passed here by enthusiasts. Who are we, a bunch of nerds, versus hundreds of dads happy to see the limit-spending and limit-playtime features because their daughters can finally responsibly play and be rewarded with new The Sims 4 expansions from time to time? 😆
EA desktop is targeted at parents with kids playing The Sims. Change my mind.
If it doesn't calculate in excel, we are not seeing any achievements on the new platform. (EA please prove me wrong).
