Thanks for all of the helpful advice. I am abut to buy Sims 4 but am worried my system will not handle it and don;t want to waste the month.

Screenshot attached of 'about my mac' can anyone tell me if Sims 4 will work? Thank you

    Yes but you need to update the operating system, preferably to High Sierra or later.
