EA play is there a way to buy games without joining ea play?

i was trying to purchase madden 19 on origin and i noticed that you had to buy it through ea play, which is something new to me. i preferably would not want to pay a monthly fee to play a game. i got...

    Hey @DoubleOwen7 some of the older sports titles are only available digitally as part of EA Play.


    It is not possible to purchase them digitally anymore.

EA's loss.  There are a few games on EA Play that I would buy....but not going to join EA Play to get them.
