Why pay for EA play to get your 10% off when anyone can qualify for 10% on NHL 24 and other titles for free, not to mention they aren’t stackable. Congrats to all those who didn’t pay extra and get the same benefits as me. Doesn’t feel right to
pay and get the same as someone else behind no pay wall. Thanks EA would like a great justification for this and not a corporate prepared KMT generate answer. Thanks

what do you mean, anyone can get 10% off of games? Some games have ways of getting discounts besides the EA Play 10%, such as the loyalty discount, which only people that have played the previous version of a franchise. This is not available to everyone though. Are you talking about this discount?
The 10% loyalty discount appears in the PlayStation shop for every one, you don’t need to qualify for the loyalty discount. Checked it out last night with friends who haven’t owned NHL or any other EA title for close to 10 years now and it appeared for them. Meanwhile, I play these games everyday, signed up for EA play (yearly and not money) and only get the 10% loyalty discount and that’s it. I can’t stack the 10% off I get from my EA play benefits too. It isn’t right and clearly it’s misleading.

if they don't have EA Play nor have owned a previous edition, they shouldn't be able to get the discount. Can your friends add some screenshots to this thread here? Personally, when I check the PS5 store, I cannot see the discount, so I'm unable to recreate the issue you're talking about.
However, the EA Play subscriptions gives you more than just a 10% discount as you also get a list of other rewards, as seen here:
Specifically for NHL, you also, at the moment, get the September Pack, as example.
