EA Play Pass not working through Steam

Question

I bought EA Play Pass through Steam today and downloaded Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, and NFS Heat. I tried to play BF4 first, and got the message " {"error":"UPSTREAM_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE","error_description":"UPSTREAM SERVICE UNAVAILABLE","code":106133} "

I tried playing the other two games as well, and received the same exact error message. I did some digging online and found a forum suggesting that I restart Steam in offline mode and then try launching my games, which worked fine. Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone know of a fix? I think it's pretty ridiculous that this is a problem. I haven't managed to find any other users claiming to have the same problem however, only similar issues when trying to launch a game they purchased through Steam.

Hi @PelowswWhilst I couldn’t tell you the exact problem it’s likely just a server side issue, they may be having issues syncing with Steam.I’m also not sure about yours or everyone else’s region but today is usually maintenance day for me on Steam (Tuesdays).I hope it’s all fixed up for you now.

Hey @Pelowsw,&nbsp;this error generally occurs when trying to launch a game on Steam but steam is either down or unreachable. You can often get past this issue by launching Steam in Offline mode and then manually signing into Origin when asked to after launching a game.
