EA Play Subscription: can I move it from Origin to Steam?

That's pretty much it. To explain it clearly: some months ago I paid for 1-year subscription to Origin Basic, what now is called EA Play. Back then it was only on Origin, but now that it's available on Steam, is there any way to "move" my subscription from one platform to the other?

I still have my subscription until December and I'd probably renew it, but if it's not possible to move it to steam then I'd rather cancel in December and subscribe again from Steam.

Unfortunately you can't transfer subscriptions over to another platform so you will have to cancel and renew on Steam in december.

You can cancel now and your subscription will still run until the expiry date, that way you won't forget to cancel nearer the time and have it auto renew.

Thanks for your reply! Sadly it confirms what I expected but it's understandable, I guess I will simply do that.
In any case, I have a second question: is the catalog the same on Steam and Origin or do we still get access to more games on the later?

Hey @JCRM87 as @CarbonCarl said, our membership is available on each platform for $4.99, or regional equivalent. There is no cross platform subscription at this time.

Thanks for the reply! That option would be great in the future... Or even including other systems like PS4-PS5 etc (I'm just making a wishlist at this point hahaha)
