EA Play Trial
EA Play is just scamming gamers into giving them money and not providing services. With EA play ($30/year) you get unlimited access to older games with 10 game play hours of the newest releases. For example, when I purchased EA Play, I had unlimited access to Madden 20 and was supposed to get 10 gameplay hours of Madden 21. Here is their trick. When I went to play Madden 21, it said that I could not connect to the servers. So I went through multiple attempts to resolve the issue (which often times included logging into the game to see if it worked), when finally it was determined that this is an issue that EA had to look into. I am not happy that I have to wait to play the game I paid for, but I understand that it was an unexpected issue. What I could not wrap my head around was their horrible customer service. Allow me to elaborate. When I asked how I would be compensated for the hours of gameplay I lost attempting to resolve the issue that EA admitted was their problem, they told me there was nothing they could do. They couldn't pay me for the time I lost (over 2 out of 10 hours of game play) nor could they add more time to my trial. Therefore, the 10 hour trial that I paid for was now turned into an 8 hour trial. I received zero help from their customer service team who only informed me that they were looking into the issue with the server error. I supposed my question to the EA team is this: how can you not have an option to add additional trial time when that is such an integral part of EA Play? THAT IS WHY I PAID FOR THIS SERVICE. Essentially, they took my money and gave me nothing in return. Sounds illegal.
Hey @jakebarto our team would not have access to your PSN account, as such, they would be unable to make any changes to any connected trials. If you feel that your trial time should be extended then you would need to speak with PSN support to see if this is something they can do.
