EA Play via XGPU - Unable to Download Games via EA/Xbox app Since Jun. 21, 2024

Still occurring. I'm having this issue right now.

Same problem here. Nothing works.

so i linked my xbox account which has the pc game pass that comes with EA play. after linking my xbox account to my ea account, it still asks me for a subscripton when i try to download the ea game

I got 3 months of game pass from nvidia geforce experience and I redeemed it, I tried to download A Way Out to play with my friend and it says I need to buy the game. I have tried logging out and back in, restarting pc, uninstalling then reinstalling the ea app, unlinking and linking xbox account to my ea account, I have checked that the gamertag is the same as on xbox app. It suprised me because I could play other game pass apps but couldn't play an ea game.

So, I have my Xbox gampass account linked to Ea Play and vice versa through both of the PC apps and I can't download any of the Ea play games without buying them. On both account it says that they are connected but for some reason it doesn't work, on the Xbox app it says that i can install the game through the EA app but when I get to the EA app it says I Need to buy Ea play or buy the game, I've looked at a lot of videos and for some reason none of them worked for me, ive tried reinstalling both apps, signing out and back into both, and checked my connections in the settings for both games. I'm at a lost I just want to try Jedi fallen survivor if anyone could help I am all ears.

Update: Just talked with an Xbox support member, we went through these steps and it still didn't work, then they said that a lot of people are having the same problem and hat we should contact Ea, which I got to say is pretty hard to do but because it hidden. Anyway these were the steps let me know If they happen to work for you.

sign out your account on both Xbox app, Ea and Microsoft store then restart your device and sign it back in. Make sure that you are signed in on both Xbox app and Microsoft store on the same account that has the subscription. Please make sure that there's no mismatch of the account and the same account is signed in on both Xbox app, Ea and Microsoft store.
check if the subscription is showing as active, I dont think I can put the link to It so just find the Microsoft active subscriptions tab. Then lastly sign out your account on both Xbox app, Ea and Microsoft store then restart your device and sign it back in. Make sure that you are signed in on both Xbox app and Microsoft store on the same account that has the subscription.
Please make sure that there's no mismatch of the account and the same account is signed in on both Xbox app, Ea and Microsoft store

All of these steps might not have to be done so just keep checking as you go through the sets.

Can't install/play games even after buying gamepass, it won't give me access, I've tried everything, unliked, relinked, checked if it's the same email numerous times, made sure the microsoft store is logged in the correct email, everything.

Greetings, after resubscribing to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, I have troubles getting the EA Play to work, I have checked everything, my account is linked ,I unlinked relinked, disabled the extension, enabled it, but still everything to no avail. Can anyone suggest something?

I'm having issues when launching any game from the PC Xbox App.

While trying to initialize a game to start download and install, after clicking install in the Xbox App, the EA app opens but nothing happens. EA App only shows the game page with options to buy the game and to start EA Play. None of the options should appear and only the pop-up for the installation and further download should show.

This should not happen because, if EA play is included in Xbox Game Pass, the games should be automatically available, let alone coming directly from the Xbox App.

I tried all troubleshooting steps available in the several topics in the forum and outside, including relinking the accounts, and nothing solved the issue.

Can you please help solve the problem so i can be able to play?

Followed the recommendation and opened a ticket in the App, number 51112a8f-3bd4-46f9-b41a-5549d7a4162a.
