I can't manage my membership

Hello,

My credit card has charged me for a long time and I see that I have no membership or I'm doing something wrong since I have no access to "manage my membership" .
EA takes 16.99$ per month but I have no membership that I can cancel.

Please check if and where my membership is and if it was canceled - why is EA still charging me?

Thank you

  • Hi @yarinsh2011

It sounds like you have an active EA Play membership on a different EA account than the one you're currently logging in with- this isn't something we'd be able to verify with you over the forums as we don't have access to your account information, but live support can take a look with you and find out where exactly this charge is coming from.

You can contact live support for more assistance on this by submitting a request here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/

  • @yarinsh2011 Hello, I hope I can help you somewhat resolve your issue!

NOTE : I don't work for EA. I'm a passionate gamer who enjoys helping people with their technical issues. I will give advice as best I can, that's easy to understand. I won't be held responsible for any damage to property or data loss, due to the fact that I am not a fully qualified EA worker. However, this has NEVER happened to any of my clients, so I hope you are reassured whilst also aware of this rule of mine 🙂

It appears that you may have done something by accident here.

    Possibilities :
    1. You have an old account that is signed up to a membership
    2. You accidentally made a new account that signed up to a membership
    3. You have a console account (on Xbox for example) that you linked to your EA account, and it's signed up for membership
    4. EA has made an error and is charging you wrongly
    5. Your account has been hacked and has been secretly signed up for a fake membership without your knowing (this is more unlikely but we should never rule it out)

Please inform me if you have had any past accounts that may be signed up for a membership?
Please inform me if any suspicious activity has been happening on your account?
Please inform me if you have any console accounts that may be signed up for a membership?
Please inform me if you've had any issues with EA before (e.g. downloading games, eps etc or updating games etc)?

I would recommend reporting this to EA authorities in EA Help. They can then see where the money is being withdrawn from.
This is very strange, and I'm so sorry for this problem. Hopefully you'll be able to get a refund 🙂

    Hope this helps xx
