I Don't Think Accelerator Scripts Should Be Considered Cheating
I'm a player from China. I've always played fair in many FPS games. One day, I discovered Apex Legends through a YouTuber — it looked like an amazing game. I downloaded it on Steam and shared it with my brother. We fell in love with it.
But then, we got banned — simply for using a Watt Tools accelerator script. We thought it was just for better ping. We didn't know it was against the rules.
We spent over 20 days appealing, seeking help everywhere. Every channel was closed. In the end, we had no choice but to give up on those accounts.
Then, the day before yesterday, we created new accounts. We played carefully — no accelerator, no suspicious software. Everything was fine.
Yesterday, we opened the game — both new accounts were banned.😥
We're still appealing. But at this point, I just want to ask:
Why is a network accelerator script treated the same as cheating?
