I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but EA Play isn't working

Title. I just renewed my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, but whenever I try to download a game via EA Play, it tells me I still need to buy an EA Play membership. If I try to purchase an EA Play membership, it tells me that the subscription is not available.

    @Vizual1978 I also had issues, all I did was quit the application, opened xbox app on my pc and then re-opened EA launcher. You should also set your filter to show "Included with EA Play" under the EA play tab.

    Also just so you know, there is a 'link social accounts' under profile settings "cog" top right in the xbox app. You could try linking the EA account there.

    Unfortunately I have the same issue. I am able to download EA play games onto my Xbox, but am not able to download anything on my PC without being asked to pay and sign up to EA play again, despite having the XBOX Ultimate Game Pass and having my XBOX and EA accounts successfully linked.

    @DaddyPancake2 Yeah mines not working on PC either,
    It says that my accounts are linked in the settings but just trying to sell me EA Play when I already have Ultimate..

    Glad that im not the only one confused on how we are suppose to get the games on PC, this download this app and link account just seems dumb and should just be added like it was on console.

    Still doesnt work, and Microsoft says its released for PC. I believe this is a problem on EAs end.

    funny because when you click on managae account in ms store it says to go to EA HELP. what a joke

    I have this problem too. I have xbox game pass ultimate subscription but I can't install any ea play game

    It pissed me off

    I finally got this fixed and you won't believe the nonsense it took. The major issue is that you need to link an EA Play account to your Xbox account. This can't be done through either Desktop app. You instead need to do it using an Xbox game on an Xbox. 

    1. Download an EA game with multiplayer onto an Xbox (I used Star Wars Squadrons)
    2. You won't be prompted to sign into an existing EA account. Instead, you'll be asked to make a new one
    3. Make a new one
    4. Exit the game and log out of your existing EA play account on a desktop browser.
    5. Sign into your new EA account using your Xbox Account. There should be a little option on the pop up screen. 
    6. Go to 'connections' and unlink your xbox account from this new EA account. 
    7. Return to your game and you'll finally be able to sign in with your old EA account
    8. Now those two accounts are successfully linked and you'll be able to download EA games using your Xbox Game Pass on PC.
