I want to unlink a deleted EA account from my PlayStation

I want to unlink a deleted EA account from my PlayStation

  • Hi @egneiuohavn

If your console is connected to a deleted EA account, you won't be able to sever the connection. That option can only be found from the EA account settings. However, according to this EA Help article 'How can I close my EA Account?' there is a way to recover deleted EA accounts if you are the account owner.

    Restoring Deleted Accounts

If you want to regain access to your account once we’ve deleted it, you may be able to reset the password to get back in. You’ll only be able to do this if you haven’t already created another EA Account using the same email address that was on the account when it was deleted.

Can you give that a go and see if you can get back into the EA account? If you can recover it and log back into the EA account, follow these steps to unlink the PlayStation from it: 'Unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account'. Be sure to read the risks of unlinking before proceeding though, just in case. It's better to know the risks then find out later.

    Hi @egneiuohavn

That's unfortunate. That is the only way to restore a deleted EA account and our advisors can't restore the account for you. You're only path forward is trying to recover the old email address. If that doesn't work, then there is nothing that can be done.

  • The email address associated with my old EA Account will not work.
Therefore it is not possible to reset the password.
