if i subscribe annually to ea play does it charge me immediately?

if i subscribe annually to EA play does it charge me immediately? I am wondering because i would like to get some games on steam, as i prefer steam over origin.

Hey @Pimpkinnnn if you subscribe to EA Play then you will be charged at the time you set up the membership.
