No Download button on EA Desktop for EA Play games

Hey all, this issue should be resolved now.

If it is not working for you can you try exiting out and relaunching Origin.

@EA_Blueberry Yip. It worked fine before but since my membership was renewed yesterday it just stopped. It will open up the EA desktop app and just give me the options I mentioned above.

@EA_Blueberry I upgraded to Xbox game pass ultimate for PC over the weekend and after that when I try to download games on EA play it tells me to subscribe to EA play. It worked before I upgraded, I was playing games from the EA desktop but after the upgrade I lost the service on the EA app, the Xbox app still shows that I can play EA games.

We sent the details to our teams here. Can you all try deleting EA Desktop one more time and then try re-installing it again through the Xbox app?

When you visit profile.ea.com and select EA Play does it show an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription?

there isnt even an area on that page you linked that says EA play for me. Having same issues it would seem, I have the xbox ultimate game pass and ea play does not have any download button.

For me, the case is that since I got the Xbox game pass ultimate and downloaded the EA desktop app (beta). It shows my account is connected and in EA it shows that I have a subscription. The app does not download any games either in the desktop app or Xbox app shows no download button. I reinstalled the app deleted the registry and cleared the cache after that it showed the download button but when clicked it just loads for a few seconds and nothing happens. I have been having this issue for a couple of months tried getting support from both sides no answer.

I was able to solve this by temporarily disabling my pihole and then restarting the EA App. For some reason that was blocking the download button from appearing.
