I am facing the same problem for the last 8 days, created an issue at help.ea.com and had live chats with the support team on 3 separate occasions and no one is able to solve it yet.
They just keep telling us to try again or report to the banks while the banks say they cannot do anything and are just following the rules set by the Reserve Bank of India.
The main issue is that EA allows only credit cards for payment in India and always tries to set a standing instruction for the next renewal.
Finally, the only option I found was to buy EA Play annual subscription on steam. As EA Play Pro is not available, I also separately bought FIFA 23 with a 10% discount available with EA Play.

Darko, how many times have you passed on this information to the "team"? I have just gone through at least 5 different posts where you have said that (oldest dating back to 2020) and yet still, today, I am facing the same issue. What feedback is being taken and what work is being done on feedback? It is evident that EA dont care about Indian users.
